Am 6. Juli 2019 vergab die International Academy of Sciences, Humanities and Arts bereits zum zweiten Mal den „Demetrios Preis“ an Nachwuchswissenschaftler/innen aus unterschiedlichen Fachbereichen für ihre Abschlussarbeiten. Der Preis wird in Höhe von je 500 Euro vergeben. Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit, die Arbeit im JoSHA-Journal zu publizieren. Im Jahr 2019 waren dies:
- Maria Sandoval: La migración como tema en el cine latinoamericano – Migration as a theme in Latin American cinema. Border between Mexico and the United States.
- Yasemin Soydan: Die Darstellung des intergenerationellen Traumas im Film La teta asustada von Claudia Llosa.
- Nikolas Woitzik: Machine Learning as an Adjunct to Medical Decision Making.
- Julia Pinter: Optimizing T-Cell Culture in Microfluidic Devices
- Joaquin Campodonico: El pathos trágico en el joven Nietzsche – The tragic pathos in the young Nietzsche. Art and Life according to The Birth of Tragedy.
- Guido Selim Arditi: El amor romántico desde una mirada marxista – Romantic love from a Marxist perspective.
- Federico Abal: Tortura: permisibilidad, mundo real y legislación – Torture: permissibility, real world and legislation.
- Diego Guzman: Functional outcomes of radial head fractures type III and IV, after management with arthroplasty or internal fixation.
